Bekka:
Sooo where to start, it was my boyfriends birthday he had a house party. I was nervous really nervous like keking my knickers, to meet his friends for the first time, so whilst I was getting ready at mine I pre-drank one or two cans of larger to calm my nerves a little bit. Whilst applying my makeup and juggling a curling wand. Keep it classy ladies multitasking at it's best. I arrived early and his two lad mates were in his room I've met his best mate before so it wasn't that daunting with just the two of them. I had one glass of rose wine and this isn't that fruity crap, I'm talking 13% heavy stuff. I'm normally giddy drunk after two glasses. I kept drinking to keep myself calm nothing like a bit of dutch courage, I'm not good at meeting new people hence why I was drunk 24/7 of my freshers week. So the glasses kept coming then my kryptonite emerged, tequila I call it memory bleach for a reason. I legit cannot remember things after I've had one shot never mind three suicide shots and two gas chambers. It's fair to say I was as drunk as I've ever been at this point but I still continued to drink my wine, another 4 glasses later. We checked the fridge the next day I'd had 1 full bottle and 3/4 of another. Hence why I'm currently on an alcohol detox until my birthday!
Here comes the best part I've only been sick off of alcohol once before in the comfort of my own en suite in university after drinking the dirty pint during ring of fire. I can handle my drink and never normally get so drunk I just get merry cause I'm mother bear who is almost sober captain looking after everyone (even at my own 18th but that's another tale). This was the night I got looked after. I was stood outside with my boyfriends friends and was sick all over the floor. Classy I know, whys he still with me? His mates ran and got me water and then he put me to bed and kept checking on me until he fell asleep at the side of me. He looked after me at his own birthday party. I'm a bad person. So not only did I make a great first impression on his mates I also keep replaying it over and over again in my head and it's been over a week. He asssures me they don't think I'm a hopeless mess who can't handle her drink. I'll just have to prove myself at the next outing if there ever is one.. I two like Kiana woke up with the worst hangover I've ever had I couldn't get up from my boyfriends bed and once again on his birthday he held my hair back whilst I was sick. Fun times guys don't drink more than you can handle. I didn't realise I was doing it until I was sick, don't let it get that far. I know for sure I geniunley won't ever again. As said I'm NEVER that bad ever. I'll be resuming my role of soberish captain I think looking after the group wanderers.
Kiana:
DISCLAIMER: I am an official lightweight and do suffer from some type of memory loss, so please excuse the fact this may not make sense.
Hmm where to begin..Well me and my friends arranged to go out as we hadn't met up in a while since leaving college, so the night came and I went over to my friends house to get ready as she lives closer to where we were heading. As usual it takes me 20 minutes to get ready and her 5 hours, so I was passing the time by jamming to afrobeats and drinking Caribbean twist. Once we'd finished off this bottle we started on the vodka and coke, bearing in mind I am a lightweight and this was only pre-drinks. So as you can probably guess I was rather tipsy when clambering into the taxi, we met up with the others and I felt extremely overdressed as everyone else was wearing jeans and I was there rocking a leather skirt and crop top. Anyways, we decided to progress to our local strip and after trying to get into various places (due to one of the girls not having ID), we landed in Sugabudda. It was definitely very lively and they were playing my taste of music, so all was good until a guy (my friend had seduced) was offering us free drinks, so hellooo.. we aint gunna say no to that! After consuming unlimited amounts of redbull and vodka, I was definitely in my zone (absolutely mortal). When I get drunk I'm quite bi-polar and either want to dance and party or literally just go home and sleep, and that night it was definitely the second option. One of my friends who was relatively sober, let me jump in a taxi with her who ended up not to be a taxi but her friend but whatever, I just wanted to go home. Thankfully he dropped me off at my bus stop so I could catch my last nightbus, and its always jokes when you are on it. Anyways to cut a long story short, I got home safely even if it meant wobbling down my street. Once I got in bed it felt as if my whole room was spinning, it was awful!
So the morning after at precisely 8am, bearing in mind I came home at 4am, I was absolutely drained and just drank water throughout the day. I knew as soon as I got up to go to the fridge that I wasn't feeling right, I ate some toast but soon after I threw it back up. Progressively throughout the day this was a constant occurrence and in total I was sick 6 times. No matter how many paracetomal I took, it just didn't take effect and I couldn't even sleep due to feeling constantly nauseous. Finally later on I was able to go to bed, and the next morning I was feeling a lot better and eating all the food I had missed out on. Hands down I can definitely say it was my worst experience, I hope childbirth isn't like this haha. Let's just say its put me off alcohol for a while, and just some words of advise...KNOW YOUR LIMITS!
Remember don't get too drunk!
Thanks for reading,
Kiana & Bekka
