Be Jolley: Primark Haul Lookbook

So after going to primarni and spending some money I decided to do a mini look book with some of the dresses I bought how I would style them with items already in my wardrobe. All are for spring summer seeing as we've had such great weather lately. The dresses could be paired with tights during autumn or winter really and instead of a kimono a cosey cardigan. I'm a curvy girl so bear this in mind but these looks can be pulled off by any shape or size, just simply adapt them to your style or if you simply wanted to see what the dresses looked like on.

Look 1 - Vintage Kimono

Shoes: A shop in Cornwall had them for years!
Floral headband: H&M £2.99
Anklet: Egyptian market.

Due to the dress being black I thought I'd add a pop of colour with the mint green vintage kimono that my nan gave me after finding it in her attic, it's from the 70's apparently. The contrasting textures of the crepe style fabric on the dress and shiny silk from the kimono emphasise it's colour. The shoes kind of tie in with the mint green adding a small amount of colour to an other wise plain outfit.

This is an outfit I'll be wearing to go to a meal with my boyfriend and his family for his birthday. The dress is a moderate length and there isn't too much cleavage on show. It covers my tattoo and is so comfy. I paired it with a black kimono with tassels and velvet detailing to match the black accents on the dress. Also the bright floral print speaks for itself and I thought by adding a neutral shade it would help tone down the dress. I live in my converse so these where a no brainer and the white matches some of the smaller white flowers on the dress.

Look 3 - Violet

For this look I decided to go with a denim shirt to add a casual vibe emphasised by the converse. The dress had white around the neckline so I decided to match this with the converse and the light wash shirt. Accessorizing with a flower on my shoulder to complete the look, the shade of this dress is perfect for summer. I decided to pin my fringe back for as the headbands didn't fit in with the outfit. The dress and the black one have a v shape in the back exposing my tattoo a little bit hehe.
