My jacket is from Sainsbury's in the sale for £15. Its perfect for layering due to it being a thin-ish coat you can fit more layers under without looking like a yeti and overheating like a woman having a hot flush on her menopause. The jeans are about three years old from River Island for £40 I think. I have an awkward waist and leg length, there they have the best measurements for jeans that fit me. I'd rather invest £40 in a pair of jeans that last as long as these than £10 every couple of months.
(looking at an ant or something)
The jumper was £4.50 from The British Heart Foundation Charity Shop. The blouse was £2.00 in the sale from Cancer Research, yes even charity shops have sales. I prefer to buy second hand clothes because one its less of an economic impact on my already shit loan and it's less of an ecological impact as the clothes are being reused rather than thrown out to landfill. That and I'm giving to a charity over a big capitalist corporation with child laborers in sweatshops, today's equivalent of the slave trade. Ethical buying is something close to my heart but as a student I can't afford much so charity shops will do. My boots are from a charity shop as well barely worn for £2.00.
My Thomas Sabo necklace was a gift for my 18th and both charms were gifts for Christmas from family and my boyfriend.
My huge 90s style scrunchie was from New Look at £1.50 in the sale (or as I say new lewk). Students love a good january sale, our loans on the other hand don't. Makeups simple everyday makeup with a gold eye and dark wine stained lip. (Review on this liquid lipstick coming soon). Cartilage loop from a piercing shop £15 titanium (one in each ear). Sleeper earings £7.99 from argos for a pack of 3 sterling silver. Owl studs £6.00 Claire's.
Opal ring (gift), Flower stacker £5.49 eBay, Stone stacker £10.00 Accessorize, Knot ring £17 eBay, Pandora crown ring (gift). (All are sterling silver).
Wishbone bracelet £0.15 eBay, Thread bracelets (gift).
Sekonda watch £20 outlet village, Adventure club bracelet (gift), Axwell Λ Ingrosso bracelet (gifted through their generous PR).
Thanks for reading, hope this gives you some ideas,
Bekka
