Uni Series: DIY Flower Fairy Lights.

My boyfriend's mum got us some red fairy lights from the carboot for 20p but you can pick them up in Primark for no more than £2.50. I've seen rose and flower fairy lights for no less than £8.99 on Ebay and amazon. In next home for some that I actually liked that didn't look cheap they were £12. £12!

I do English literature so I like words and books, so making flowers out of paper with text on would look perfect in my room. I bought a book from the charity shop for 50p and a glue stick from Wilkinsons for 50p so all together this cost me £1.20.

I know it's a crime to rip pages out of a book but it's recycling and saves you money.

We used this video to make them but instead of using double sided sticky tape we just used glue and didn't stick them to a cotton bud.

Hope you enjoy the diy, tweet me your diys at @be_jolley
