5 Summer Suggestions

As I have finally finished college and now anxiously awaiting my results, I have been utilising my time wisely as summer is present, and hot weather is hopefully approaching. Just as a disclaimer and to let you know I currently do not have a job, (unless you consider working out full time at the gym) thus meaning I incur a lot of free time, and so I thought I would suggest some ideas on how I have been spending my summer. LEGGO…

UNO.

LE GYM: I thought I’d start with this one as it’s something I really enjoy doing. Exercise is a big part of my life as I tend to not eat the right types of food, ive gradually started to balance my diet by cutting out both my sweet and salty fetishes (chocolate and crisp). It’s also quite convenient as it doesn’t take me that long to travel there, and the cost is great for students like myself, as it is only £9.99 a month and when you consider the facilities that are within the complex, you realise how much of a bargain actually is. My main goal for the gym is tone up various parts of my body including my stomach, legs and arms, the results of this are very significant on my legs and I love how they now have a more defined shape. I try to go at least 3 times a week but the struggle is real to get up early nowadays! Whilst on this fitness journey I have realised it has helped me to intake more water, this I believe has benefitted my skin so much as I’ve not had as many breakouts. So, I would definitely recommend the gym if you are looking for something to fill the time or if you simply just want to get fit.
DOS.

T.V. CATCH UP: The clue is in the name, as I have been watching all my favourite television series, to make up for the missed opportunities when my exams were taking place. I acknowledge that it’s not healthy to stare at a screen for the majority of the day, but I suppose we all do it anyway! So as soon as my exams finished I took back the control of the remote (mwahaha), the first series I watched was Made in Chelsea which I initially thought wasn’t my scene but now I absolutely love it, roll on the next series! After this I then completed Misfits, and I am now currently obsessed with True Blood which has only taken me 2 weeks to watch from series 3 to 7, bearing in mind every series contains 11 1 hour episodes. Anything that contains vampires or supernatural shizz is my scene, so following this fact I plan to watch the ever so popular Orange is the new Black, Scandal, Hannibal and I also intend to finish the Game of Thrones.

TRES.

READ A BOOK: Yes you may be done with reading after all the hours spent doing this in college/university, but this is the chance to read books that do appeal to you and that you find interesting. I’m one of them people that starts a book but somehow never manages to finish it, let’s just say I’m easily distracted…However there are so many books which I want to read (but probably won’t), although I have currently started 12 Years a Slave, a true story by author Solomon Northup. I thought I would start with the book as the film was a massive hit. Also, I continue to read as I don’t want to become too illiterate for university (lol).

CUATRO.
FRIENDS/SHOPPING: I suppose there kind of the same thing, either way you end up spending money. I think it’s important to spend time with friends, as soon we are all going to be progressing on different paths, whether it be uni or benefit street (just kidding). Obviously when I go out with friends I end up spending obscene amounts of money whilst shopping, this is why the two go hand in hand together. I’ve recently taken up pole dancing lessons with two of my friends, which I have to say is a lot harder than it looks (its not all about grinding and looking sexy). Unfortunately I will not be attending anymore sessions as I feel I’m not progressing in the slightest, however it is a good laugh and great way to spend time with the clique. So now let’s talk about my obsession with online shopping, its soo frustrating as it’s just so simple to purchase things at the comfort of my bed. However I feel I do need an intervention as my bank account is hurting!
CINCO.
TRAVEL: Although I have not yet accomplished this myself, I would definitely recommend doing this now as soon it will be time to have study and have no social life (jokes). As I have lived in Manchester my whole 19 year existence, I plan to broaden my horizons and visit different places starting with London. Obviously I would like to go further a field however I do not have the legitimate funds and…
Thank you for reading my 5 summer suggestions, I hope they have helped inspire some of you however the most important thing is to stay safe and use protection or you will get pregnant and die! (just kidding but name that film doe)
Until next time..
