Primarni haul, woops I spent a little money. After working for like 6 weeks I think I owe it to myself to spend some of it when I went on a shopping trip with my mum after having the week off work. Here's some of the stuff I bought, of course primark like other stores have their sale on currently. Not like primark need a sale on at their prices. However, I have noticed an inflation on primark's prices although have risen in recent years cropping up. So wherever you can save money especially as a student you won't complain.
So let's get on with the haul.
Owl pillow £3.00 in the sale.
I love some of primark's home-ware you can find some really cheap gems in there. I'm mad for owls need I say anymore? Red is my 2nd favorite color and features heavily within my room decor at home and in uni.
This is currently a pillow but I plan to turn it into a doorstop to keep my door open in my new flat at uni. I'll just get a bag of sand or pebbles and remove the pillow there's a flap at the back to open it. So this little guy will fit right into my room. I know they do door stops themselves but at £5 I thought I'd get this one and make my own, seeing as I've finished work for now and have some times on my hands for a D.I.Y.I went with the intention of buying a new dress and came away with three instead of one, naturally. We women can't just buy one thing. I have recently been clearing out my wardrobe of clutter and decided to treat myself to a new dress or two or three. I needed one to wear to my boyfriends 19th house party, and one to a meal with his family. So I did need two after all.
Blue floral print dress £10.
This dress is a comfortable length not too short and sits just above my knee, I like the floral print which will work in both summer and autumn due to the navy blue back drop. The sleeves I appreciate not being a fan of my arms.I don't normally go for things with an elastic waist band but due to this being thicker it emphasizes curves and skims the lumps and bumps.
Black tennisish dress. £5.00
A bargain at 5quid I went back to the rail to see if there were any others and loan behold there was a purple one as well. It fits nicely with a skater style skirt. The lines of black and white give it a sports luxe vibe. (oooo swishy fash terminology) You can never go wrong with an LBD (little black dress) can you? The shade is rather flattering even on my unforgiving shape.
Purple tennisish dress £5.00 same as the above but purple.
Daisy print pjama bottoms £3.00
Finally some daisy pjamas, can never have too many pretty pjs especially during summer when let's face it we live in our lounge wear. Especially at half the price, I'll just pair it with a top I already have which luckily matches.
That is all I could afford on this trip or wanted to spend rather.
I have a lookbook to do with these dresses so keep looking for the lookbook!
So what have you bought recently?
Thanks,
Bekka
