As a girl who likes to wear make up, mascara is definitely a must-have item as I specifically like to accentuate to my eyes. Personally, I do not like mascaras which make my eyelashes look clumpy and therefore I am very fussy when it comes to choosing them. Over the years I have gone through so many, but can distinctively only re-purchase three. So here they are..
1. Benefit They're Real Mascara│£9.99 (sample size)
This product is heavily raved about and I can definitely see why as it does live up to the hype. The feature which attracts me the most about this item is definitely the brush, I love how the tips of the nib are spaced out, meaning it won't leave you with clumpy lashes. Also at the bottom of the brush it has little tips, to lengthen your bottom lashes, which is always handy! As you can see I only bought the sample size, don't worry I did this on purpose as the full size is £19.50. However it is the UK's No 1 Bestseller, so you could predict it would be expensive. I have to admit that it has lasted me quite a long time(over 6 months), so I definitely will not hesitate to re-purchase, as it is a high quality product to invest in!
2. Maybelline The Rocket Volum' Express│£5.25
This is the most inexpensive out of the three, and I think its a great bargain for the price. Again similar to the Benefit mascara, it has spaced out tips on the wand, which essentially separate and lengthen your lashes. I really enjoy using this product as with just a few coats, you have stand-out lashes. My favourite feature of the product apart from its purpose, is definitely its packaging, its just so funky and simple.
3. Rimmel London Volume Flash x10 Mascara│£5.99
Such a mouthful! (haha) I absolutely love this mascara, although the Benefit has become my ultimate number one, I still keep this in reserve. Every time I wear this product I always seem to get compliments, people asking me - are you wearing fake eyelashes? So it obviously does what it says on the tin, it ultimately gives the appearance of both thicker and longer lashes. Definitely a great product!
