Another small haul, I just picked up some necessities and also some crap I didn't need. Impulse buys whyyyy!? Oh well it's only a pound kind of mentality leads to spending a lot more than you thought you would. Which is where they rob your money, and well mine as well. It has people questioning in store how much is this? It can't all be a pound.
Pantene Heat Defence Spray / Frizz Serum
2 Exfoliating Gloves
I have had these before and two in a pack works out at 50p each. I use them when I cleanse my face using a face wash morning and night to help my skin out that extra bit with some gentle exfoliation. Which helps to clear out pores and remove dead skin. Good to use before shaving or fake tanning as well, just don't use the same one on your face!I use them instead of a flannel and have, used these for years and will continue to repurchase them. I just wish they had darker colours as they hide the grime better.
Manhattan Matte Lip Cream & Nail Varnish
These two came in a pack together working out at 50p each which is a bargain! The lip creme applies creamily and smells like toffee and reminded me of the Collection ones. The formula after 30 seconds or so dries matte and lasted a good hour and a half. Nothing ground breaking but long enough for me at the 50p price. A very nice nude shade great with any makeup look.
(the lip creme with tinted moisturiser and simple makeup)
The nail varnish is opaque and one coat would have been enough. Which is different to other yellow nail varnishes where the colour has been streaky after even three coats. A standard brush with smooth application. Very pigmented only problem which is what I have with all of my varnishes I painted them this morning and by the time I'd stepped out of the shower my nails were chipped not many nail varnishes last more than one or two days on me. This one is no different.
Shower cap
Tinkerbell shower cap does what it says on the tin keeps your hair dry whilst you're in the shower. Just with cute tinkerbells' on it.
So as students the poundshops are your best bet for essentials.
Thanks for reading,
